To the year 6 of 2009
Just a quick note to say Hi! from Winsley CE VC Primary School and to wish you all the best for this academic year. It was so good meeting some of you back in July and we look forward to doing so again over the coming year. See you soon!

It's a privilege and a pleasure to be involved in SMDB as a Foundation Governor. The care and effort which is freely given by all adults involved in the School is terrific. I have been a parent of two children at this school [Rachel and Sara] and also taught here for some years in the 1980's. The School has a big influence in Fishponds and will continue to thrive given the commitment by all involved.

I was recently on google street maps trying to locate where my old school was after moving from Bristol to Newcastle back in 1991.

I could not believe how much has changed, although the school spirit seems to be there still from all the messages left, which is great.

I left just before finishing my final year at Dr Bells and was in Mr King's class. Not sure if Mr King is still there ? But just wanted to say how much of a wonderful teacher he was. I hope there are alot more kids like me who loved Dr Bells as much as me even after all these years.

It's great to see the school go from strength to stength. I attended St Mathias and then in 1976 moved to Dr Bell's, which I left in 1980. I have many happy memories of my time at both schools. A teacher I remember from that time was Mrs Taylor who gave a huge amount of support to her children.
